Quick Reference Guide to Selling Property in Chapter 13

During the course of a chapter 13, it is not unusual for a debtor to sell property. Perhaps the debtor is relocating or maybe the debtor has an old car with no liens that s/he wants to sell to a family member. Can the chapter 13 debtor sell property? Who needs to get notice of the proposed sale? Is an order of the Bankruptcy Court required?
