Mr. Civil Procedure Man is distressed.  When he volunteered to answer questions for this site, he anticipated more majestic queries—perhaps questions involving sophisticated speculations about the philosophy of Article III courts and judges, or like matter.  Imagine his shock, then, to receive mundane inquiries about venue and service of process that would seem more appropriate for delegation to a minimum-wage law clerk.  Nevertheless, he will participate, for the time being at least, with a cheerful spirit.
