As of 1/4/2013, there has been no publication nor judicial comment concerning why the transfer claim fee of $25.00 was included in the Changes to Miscellaneous Fee Schedules now published by the Bankruptcy Courts and which became effective 12/1/2012. The Judicial Conference has not published its September, 2012 record of meeting. Repeated attempts to contact the Administrative Office of the US Courts has produced no result or response. Today, I submitted by email the same question to the AO . . .
