Kathleen McCallister

Kathleen McCallister was appointed Chapter 13 Trustee for the District of Idaho in 2007. She received her undergraduate degree in 1984 from Loyola University of Chicago majoring in Political Science and Public Administration. She received her law degree in 1987 from Loyola Law School. Prior to becoming a Trustee, she spent the majority of her career as Staff Attorney for several Chapter 13 Trustees. Additionally she represented numerous Chapter 7 Trustees and handled an occasional Chapter 12 case for the standing Trustee. Like most practitioners she started out representing debtors and creditors. She currently serves on the executive Board of the National Data Center, which is a not-for-profit organization that provides Chapter 13 data for the benefit of debtors, creditors, and parties in interest. The NDC sponsors many educational programs. She is a member of the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees, is on the board of the NACTT Foundation and the Trustee Outreach program, and is the past chair for the NACTT Staff Symposium Board which is an organization that puts together seminars for training Trustee staff. She is admitted to the bar in the State of Illinois and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. When she is not working, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her husband Terry and her sons Sean and Justin.
