The days before electronic case filing seem almost prehistoric. Filing a petition was done in person, often by a messenger service and sometimes by the actual attorney for the debtor. There was no electronic signature for anything. Things were not done via skype, over the internet or in other impersonal ways. Attorneys went through reams and reams of paper, expensive toner and paid a hefty storage price for everything to boot.
With the advent of electronic case filing between 2001 and 2002, changes . . .
