What are deceptive documents and why are they being presented in bankruptcy courts?
It would be appropriate to characterize the decade 2000-2010 as the Decade Of Deceit, with bankruptcies from 2001’s Enron through 2009’s Madoff, and including the deceitful documents still floating around in the mortgage meltdown mess. Regrettably, these headline grabbing mega-bankruptcies are often merely magnified versions of instances of deceit . . .
