Judge Mary Grace Diehl (Northern District of Georgia) is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and has practiced bankruptcy law since her 1977 graduation from Harvard Law School.
The Northern District of Georgia consistently ranks as the district with the largest volume of Chapter 13 filings. In March of 2009 alone, debtors filed over 1350 new Chapter 13 cases. During calendar year 2008, the Court had 18,094 new filings. As a result, Chapter 13 procedures receive a good deal of attention from the Court, the consumer bankruptcy bar, and our three standing Chapter 13 Trustees.
